Oak Lodge

Becky & Chris already knew what they would like for their outdoor space; a rustic lodge, as if the trees had been cut from the ground that it would stand on, including a wood burner and slate roof.

We had an exciting period, designing with them, including 3 revisions to make sure we acheived the style and materials exactly how they would like, before production.

Now they have a bespoke Oak Lodge, that compliments their lifestyle and allows them precious memories spending time with their family.

Materials;

Softwood base frame made from 225 x 75mm timbers.

200mm Oak posts and eaves beams.

150mm x 50mm Oak rafters.

The waney edge boards, and various width floor boards, were all cut from oak, as well as the cladding frame, doors, and balustrade.

 The balustrade infill is 100mm galvanised mesh.

The whole structure is raised 1000mm.

Supported by 13 concrete plinths.
