Softwood Gazebo

November 2021

Mr and Mrs Young had a patio space, subjected to the glorious sunshine from mid-morning until mid-evening. Their aim was to develop this space so they could relax and enjoy their time in their garden, year round.

After visiting the showroom they knew they would like a Gazebo, and to include features such as curved braces and a king post centre.

The gazebo would be within 2m from their boundary so they were also advised they would need to meet planning restrictions of a maximum height of 2.4m,  or request planning permission. Their decision was to keep within the maximum height and we therefore produced the roof with a pitch of 15 degrees.

Mr & Mrs Young now have a relaxing, cosy area to enjoy their time spent in their garden, come rain or shine!

Materials:

Softwood 150mm posts

125mm x 50mm eaves

100mm rafters

Tanalised tongue & groove back and side wall
